The Nelson Inn

The Nelson Inn was lovely! A little shabby on the outside but the inside was spacious, modern and comfortable. We booked one night in the western room and loved it so much we decided to book another in the ‘four top room’. Would recommend the four top. The only rooms available are like two bedroom town homes stocked with a full kitchen, comfy sheets and limitless movie viewing capabilities. The service was friendly and prompt and the location was great. Would definitely stay there again!

We were beyond impressed with our stay at the Nelson Inn. Our unit had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living area and a kitchen with a full size fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. The TV had hulu and Netflix already signed in. We saw 4 different units and each had their own unique, modern style. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was probably the coolest hotel room we have ever had. We will stay here every visit to Sheridan. It is great for a weekend away, or for corporate events. Location is also great, a short walk to all the shops, restaurants and bars on main street. Thanks for a great experience!

The interior of our room was amazing! The property is made up of multiple buildings. We stayed in the 4 top. It was a spacious 2 bed/2 bath apartment with a full kitchen. Exceptionally clean and very well stocked for our stay. Huge TV to unwind using a streaming service. I would definitely recommend this property and would 100% stay here again. Excellent overall experience at The Nelson Inn and in Sheridan; also visited local businesses Frackeltons and Andi's Coffee House.

We stayed in the upstairs suite 'B' of the Heritage building. It's a nice place to stay for two couples, feels like a home. The suite had a very large living room, a full kitchen and dining area along with the two nice bedrooms and the single bath. We had a great time while we were in Sheridan and the central location of the Nelson Inn made exploring downtown a breeze. The only criticism I have is that the suite could have been cleaner; It's an older building so it could use a really good deep cleaning (floors, baseboards and windows / sills) as well as better between-guest cleanings (some personal stuff was left up on higher shelves in the closest / some crumbs etc.)

Quite possibly the nicest place we’ve ever stayed in! And we are very frequent travelers! Their attention to detail is impeccable, from the condition of the historic hardware to the modern furniture, nothing is looked overlooked. The cleanliness is better than most big chain hotels we’ve stayed at. Will be coming back to the Nelson Inn next time we’re in Sheridan!

Stumbled upon The Nelson Inn on a motorcycle ride with friends. What a great place. We had an issue with our travel plans and The Nelson Inn worked with us to accommodate our change of plans. The rooms in the Four Tops are huge and allowed us to relax and tell great stories of conquest! The rooms are unique in a good way. We are definitely planning a return visit. Update to this review! We have started several times and each time has been fantastic!

We stayed in the Four top 102 & what a beautiful place! Very clean, air conditioning, 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms & an adorable kitchen! So much nicer than all the other hotels we’ve stayed in during this vacation! Bonnie was extremely friendly & helpful! Sad we’re on a time crunch & couldn’t stay another day! Highly recommend if you’re needing to stay in Sheridan. Hopefully my family will be able to stay at the Nelson Inn again at some point!

I've visited Sheridan three times now and this hotel was perfect. The Western "room" was actually an entire apartment. The best part for me was how clean everything was. The sheets were soft and the beds were comfortable. The owner was friendly if we needed anything. You can easily walk to all of downtown Sheridan. The only negative aspect of this hotel (as other reviews have stated) is how thin the walls are but some ear plugs to sleep made it a non issue. Will definitely stay here again.
